About Kohl's Fun & Fit Kids
The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis developed and implements
Kohl's Fun & Fit Kids, a childhood obesity prevention and awareness effort. Kohl's supports The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis through the Kohl's Cares® Hospital Partner Program, introduced in 2000. The Kohl's Cares philanthropic program supports children's health and education initiatives in the communities they serve. Kohl's Cares provides funding for the Kohl's Fun & Fit Kids program. As part of this effort, Saint Francis has also teamed up with the Tulsa 66ers and PartyAllStars to bring fun, entertainment and healthy role models to each event. Read about our partnerships.

Kohl's Fun & Fit Kids Community Events
Kohl's Fun & Fit Kids visit local community events to encourage kids of all ages and their families to eat right and be active. At the booth you might find interactive games, our Minute to Move It Wheel of Fitness, educational materials, music, dancing and fun giveaways.

Kohl's Fun & Fit Kids School Events
Kohl's Fun & Fit Kids will visit 12 schools in the greater Tulsa area this academic school year. Over 4,000 3rd – 5th grade students will have the opportunity to participate in an hour-long school assembly with games and activities focused on nutrition and exercise. Program partners, J2Crew and the Tulsa 66ers, will turn school assemblies into a day you won't want to miss.

*Limit your child’s screen time, television, video games, computer, to less than 2 hours a day.
*Having a healthy snack after school will help keep your child from over eating at dinner. This is a great time to get in veggies and protein like lean turkey or peanut butter.
*Try to get in 60 minutes of exercise a day. If you can’t do it all at once, break it into smaller sessions.
*Don’t overindulge during the holidays. Eat the same number of meals you would any other day. You can try everything, just take smaller portions.
